Games Played This Month (November 2019)

Rapidfire reviews of board games and video games I’ve played this month.

Donut County (PS4)

Does pretty much what it says on the tin! Gameplay is simple, and the story is funny and endearing.

Overcooked (PS4)

This game is very addictive. It requires a minimum of two players. We found that three is the optimum number to have, even though you can have up to four.

Klask (board game)

Easy to learn, difficult to master. I played this game with some former workmates in a gaming bar. I’ve decided to order a copy for myself. It’s like a miniature version of soccer or hockey for non-sporty people!

Megaquarium (PS4)

I really really love to micromanage, and this game lets me do that. Megaquarium is a game that lets you build, design, and manage your own aquarium. It is a very well-polished game, with soothing music. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a game to relax to.

If you’re reading this and happen to be a gamer, please feel free to tell me about what you’ve played recently. 🎮

I haven’t tried any of those myself.

Me, been playing some games in the Mana series. Finished Final Fantasy Adventure, and working on Secret of Mana. Stopped though to play Steven Universe: Unleash the Light.

I’ve played on my Android phone and love it, it seems to be the same idea, swallow as much as you can. Simple but entertaining 🙂 We have an Xbox One and Gamepass and I downloaded Overcooked 2. I haven’t played it yet. One of my favorite board games is Ticket to Ride. I don’t own the actual board game but a friend does and I have the Windows and Android version of it. I also absolutely love Forza Horizon 4 on Xbox. I’ve been playing more and more games on our Xbox lately. Something I was never really big into before my husband lol.
